Charles Shaw Shiraz Wine Review
70
It might not be award winning, but how does it rate with the Wine Goof?
I tend to prefer red wines to white wines, so this Shiraz is already at an advantage. Being a two buck chuck wine means it is (1) inexpensive and (2) questionable.
Inexpensive, of course, doesn't always mean cheap (a.k.a. gross), but it also does not guarantee that it is a decent wine. The only real way to find out, naturally, is to give it a taste.

Five Fingers: Yes! Yes! Yes!
Four Fingers: Mmm...good.
Three Fingers: Not bad, seconds please.
Two Fingers: Ah...okay, sure. Add a little juice?
One Finger: Ick, but I'm desperate.
Zero Fingers: Are you trying to poison me?
The Wine Goof's Review
This is a fairly good wine. I might even go so far as to say it is one of my favorites. It is subtly sweet (not too sweet, but just enough to not be tart). I like sipping on this wine while eating cheese dishes or with a vibrantly flavorful salad. It also goes well with some dark chocolate.
This Shiraz is perfect to sip on while sitting around chatting with friends. It has a light flavor that compliments anything else you might be consuming. I recently served it with a salmon dish--and it was a hit.
I give it: Four Fingers

Hi Stacie,
I thought I would take a look at some of your hubs as you were kind enough to comment on mine. I like the sound of the two buck chuck, it gives me some ideas of my own. I live in France so I am inundated with cheap wine, and sometimes it's great, but other times it gives you heartburn. Thanks for the review.
Mark
Shall try it out then.
